my story

BORT. is a plush doll created out of “bort”om… One day Niesea was sketching with her 5 year old daughter and came up with a strange doodle. From that cute doodle came Bort. Her daughter fell in love and tucked it in bed. Niesea watched her daughter the entire day telling stories to Bort and event venting to the plush. From this she believed in the idea of Bort. This Plush is made to have a straight face with no judgement behind its eyes. It also is in a seated position so that it is able to be completely present with you; making it the perfect plush buddy for you or your child.

About the dolls

Niesea Wong is a multi-dimensional artist, Creator, Dancer, Musician, and singer who fell in love with creating and everything ART related. She especially developed an appreciation for the dark and mysterious side of art and was always drawn to its beauty. With her art, she hopes to bring out the whimsical that is hiding away deep inside of everyone. It is okay to love the things that aren’t always living within society’s created and formulated ideal beauty standard.

The Uncanny Dolls are created to be One-of-one and never replicated to preserve her art’s originality. They can also be customized to replicate each person who wants one of their own. The Uncanny Dolls are hand welded and can be posed. They are also hand sculpted with high-quality polymer clay. They are then sanded down and hand painted with great attention to detail. Each outfit is a custom design and hand stitched. Niesea hopes to keep the art of doll making alive.
